🇸🇦 🦅 The first tourist guide about the Kingdom in Braille – from Nasr

This guide is not just a file…

This is the first step by Naser to make Saudi tourism accessible and experienced, even for those who don't see the place with their own eyes, but feel it with their hearts and fingers 🤍

On the occasion of World Braille Day, we are launching the first digital tourist guide about the Kingdom in Braille , an idea and innovation from our creative trainee Nouf Al-Maliki within the programs of the Nesr Academy.

🎯 What is this evidence?

  • A digital file prepared for printing in Braille,
  • It provides the blind visitor with a simple and well-thought-out introduction to the most important tourist destinations in the Kingdom,
  • Written in clear, organized language, suitable for use in schools, associations, and tourist trips.

🗺️ What does the guide contain?

  • An overview of Saudi Arabia today and Vision 2030 in easy and simple language.
  • A description of some of the most important destinations and landmarks, such as:

-Historic Diriyah

Al-Ula and its surroundings

-Heritage villages and southern mountains

-Experiments on the Red Sea and elsewhere

-Texts suitable for reading in Braille or via a screen reader.

-Brief guidelines for the tour guide or escort on how to present the experience to the blind visitor.

👥 Who is this guide for?

  • For blind and visually impaired visitors wishing to explore Saudi Arabia.
  • For tour guides and tour operators who want to add a comprehensive dimension to their services.
  • For schools, associations, and entities interested in integrating visually impaired individuals into tourism and educational experiences.

💡 How can I benefit from it?

  • Upload the file immediately after completing the order.
  • Print the manual with a Braille printer or use it with a screen reader.
  • Use its content within a tour, workshop, or educational program about the Kingdom.

🚨 Important: This product is digital ; a printed copy is not currently being shipped.
The content can be printed by any entity that has a Braille printer, or used electronically.

🎁 Why is it free now?

  • On the occasion of World Braille Day,
  • In support of the idea that tourism is a right for everyone ,
  • Nesr decided to make this guide available for pre-order and free of charge , to be the beginning of a complete line of “all-inclusive tourism” products, God willing.

If you have suggestions for improving future versions (more regions, different languages, or ideas to better serve blind visitors)...

An eagle listens to you before writing the next line 🦅✨
